Furnishing the Cage:

Now that the cage is built or setup, the proper vines/branches/plants must be placed in the cage. First a plant must be placed inside the cage which takes up about 50% of the area inside the cage. Umbrella plants, Ficus trees, pothos plants and Hibiscus plants has worked best for us. Be sure that the plant placed inside the cage is not poisonous however most common house plants will be fine. Many sources are online and in books.

In addition to this, vines must be placed inside the cage. Plastic coated electrical wire of the appropriate diameter works well. Branches found outdoors can be placed inside the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes to sterilize them. Be sure that the branches allow access to all areas of the cage, but over abundance is not necessary. Make sure that as little as possible is touching the floor of the enclosure, so that cleaning the will be easier.
