About Us:

I have always been exposed to many unique and exotic pets. Sugar gliders, parrots, monkeys, you name it! But when I saw a cha
meleon on tv one night, I was hooked! I was only 11 years old, and I knew that they required a lot of care, if I could even get one. The next day I was on my computer, at the library, and doing everything else I could think of to read up on these magnificent creatures. A few thousand pages later, I found myself calling every pet store in town to get one. I found one and bought my first chameleon, a veiled. Then of course another. And then another, and another and another! I found myself with veileds, pygmies, elliots, panthers and a couple other species. I was truly obsessed! They fascinated me like nothing else before. Eventually, I decided on panthers as my favorite species (for now anyway), and began breeding them.

Thus, Snail Tail Inc. has become an official business in 2006. We strive to make sure all of our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase and see to it that every chameleon that leaves our facilities are in top-notch shape. We will answer any questions you may have by email or phone, any day of the week. Not a customer? No problem; we will still answer any questions you may have on chameleon husbandry. We keep chameleons strictly for the hobby, and thus is not our sole source of income. There are many breeders out there who depend on selling chameleons to make money, which sometimes make them do unscrupulous transactions. We are not in it to make “a quick buck”, and we reserve the right to not deal with potential buyers if we feel that they are incapable of providing sufficient care. If you have any questions on availability, chameleon care or our website you can contact Adam Weglarz at Adam@SnailTails.com.

About Our Chameleons:

a     We take pride in our chameleons.  No chameleon will    ever be sold that is not 100% healthy.  Furthermore, our colony is checked for parasites on a bi-weekly basis.  Our breeders, other than the wild caught specimens, come from some of the strongest bloodlines in captivity.  Their breath-taking colors prove that.  All of our cages are cleaned daily.  We only offer reverse osmosis water to our chameleons, and their diet is of the highest standard in the industry.  We don’t try to find any easy ways out when it comes to husbandry.  Our goal is to make everyone of our chameleons prosper when introduced into a new home.  Please take the time to read our care sheet, along with other additional information found online and in books before inquiring about purchasing one of our reptiles.
